Ecton Poppy Fields
When I heard about the Poppy fields being in bloom I couldn’t wait to get down there, here are a few of the lovely session with Phoebe, the conditions were perfect, not too sunny but a little sun creating a stunning hair light behind my little subject. It’s always good to co-ordinate outfits with surroundings, here I chose a fun red dress to compliment the scene and of course the strawberry hair colour helped here!
Mid to the end of June is the perfect time of year for the poppy fields, apparently they can bloom from June through to September, although I think the earlier the better where flowers are concerned as they do tend to wilt as the season progresses, it is important to take great care when walking through the poppies as they are very delicate and we all want to enjoy the sea of red for as long as possible!
