When Sian came to me with her idea for an outdoor newborn photoshoot, I was very excited. She wanted to session to be unposed and completely natural. Her little lady was what I call a ‘cat napper’. That said, we still managed to get lots of dreamy sleepy shots in between her feeds. Kerenza led the session, feeding and napping and just generally enjoying the cuddles with her mamma.
It was the height of summer and a very hot, sunny day. So we weren’t without our challenges. But that’s just part of the job! Being outdoors was lovely. Incorporating the colourful surroundings into the photos whilst enjoying the fresh air. So natural and peaceful.
