The Great British Seaside

We took a little weekend trip to the seaside! The kids always want to go to the beach so we thought we’d go to my old childhood holiday spot to see if it had changed. It was a bit of a last minute decision, and we didn’t regret it. As a child I used to love going to Great Yarmouth, we always stayed in a caravan by the beach. I was pleased to see that it had hardly changed, the sea front and the arcades were all still there as was my favourite ride The Snails, I can’t believe they are still going strong, ha! Of course I had a go and the kids loved it too, they wanted another go and another go just as I did. Here is a small selection of photos form the weekend, it looks quite retro with the old deck chairs at the beach hut and the bowling alley. We also took a trip to the historic city of Norwich, it was very picturesque with its cobbled streets and pretty riverside walk.
