Mummy & Me White Studio Session

This session was in my clients home just before the second lockdown, thank goodness we managed to squeeze this one in because the results are amazing.  I had a few discussions with mum prior to the shoot and collated a mother-daughter themed Pinterest board (which you can see here).  When we looked at the inspiration we both just loved the idea of a soft white on white session and Maria had some perfect outfit ideas for herself and her daughter, as you can see they work really well together. Instead of using a white backdrop, I decided to back light Maria and Lina to create a more ethereal look to their session, you can see this brings in some beautiful light to their hair and the sides of their faces, I just had to ensure that they were getting enough light to the front of them so they weren’t in shadow. I’m probably getting a bit too technical here but we had a great session, Lina was as lovely as ever, she’s such a happy little girl and just loved all the mummy cuddles.
