Aim to book in your mini session as soon as possible. I’ll take a note of your due date and this will secure your spot in my schedule. Once baby arrives we will finalise a date and time for your session. Please note, baby must be under 14 days old at the time of the session. No payment is taken prior to the session, but I will take full payment before sending the final 8 images.
The session will take place at your home, please feed baby whilst I set up, I will then spend approximately 1 hour photographing your baby. You will have already instructed me on the colour theme you would like (chosen from the 4 options above), this saves time on the day. Please note, only one colour theme per mini session.
I will spend some time settling and soothing your baby but I cannot guarantee that he/she will sleep during your session. Please be aware that if your baby is awake the whole time the images will reflect this, they’ll still be beautiful images though, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed! If you are worried about this, I would advise you to take a look at booking a full session whereby I spend 3-4 hours working to achieve those dreamy sleepy shots. Again nothing is guranteed!
This session is for baby only photos. If you would like parent and sibling photos, please take a look at booking the full session. Extra backdrops are required for family photos and takes much more time, this is not possible to achieve in 1 hour during a mini session. I may however request parents hands in photos if baby is unsettled. Your gallery will consist of full body shots, close ups and detail shots.
After your session, I will go away and select the top 8 images. I will then retouch those images and send them to you within 2 weeks of your session. Please note you will not see the rest of the images, they will most probably be similar versions or test shots of the final images you receive. Again if you would like to see a full gallery of 25 fully retouched images to select from, you will need to book the full session.
You will receive your images via email and will need to download the images to your phone or computer. I will send you 8 full size high resolution images that you can use for printing and you will also receive 8 low resolution images ideal for sharing on social media. If you would like black and white versions, please ask and I’ll send them too.
My portraits capture your little one just as they are in this moment, simple, pure and timeless. I use minimal props and neutral colours to keep the focus entirely on your little baby. By working with organic tones, natural posing on the beanbag, and soft lighting, your images will not only be beautiful but will also be completely timeless.
